Thoughts on Mary Sue-ism

I bet even that isn't a word, but... I just hate the thought of Mary Sues. Before someone says I'm Anti-Mary Sue... I'm not. I hate everything that has to do with Mary Sues. Calling something a Mary Sue is absolutely nothing more than an excuse to say you don't like them. Before you look up 'tests' to 'check', figure out that those tests are useless, they mark EVERYTHING. That Litmus test? THAT'S WHY IT IS BIG. You can't mark everything without that! Oh, and a test created by someone like that for original fiction characters marks Eastern weapons as Mary Sue-ish... and then another point if they are not Eastern. Just to show.]
